The Hood Shepherd is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry intelligence organization that builds neighborhood field guides, evangelism training, and outreach tools so churches can know and love real neighbors with Gospel clarity.

Are the field guides free?
Yes. Every neighborhood field guide in the Field Guide Library is free with a name, email, and zip code. Anne Arundel County residents get free access to the full address-lookup tool as well.

No. Demographics describe patterns. Field guides translate those patterns into ministry posture, relational wisdom, and Gospel clarity for a specific neighborhood type.

Is ministry intelligence ethical?
It is ethical when it uses aggregate public data, protects privacy, names its limits, and stays in service to neighbor love rather than manipulation.

Do field guides replace evangelism training?
No. They support training by giving believers a more concrete read of the neighbor and neighborhood before they speak — training still has to happen.
